Tonight’s gubernatorial debates to be simulcast; watch them live here and weigh in
The first of this year’s Monadnock Debates is tonight at 6 p.m. at Franklin Pierce University, and features Republican gubernatorial hopefuls Walt Havenstein, Andrew Hemingway and Jonathan Smolin. If you can’t make it down to this free event, don’t worry — it is being simulcast online, and you can watch it right here: www.franklinpierce.edu/webcast/webcast_out.htm. The goal of Monadnock Debates — a collaboration of the Monadnock Ledger-Transcript, Franklin Pierce University and NHPTV — is to give residents of the region a chance to weigh in on critical issues that concern us in this part of the state. We want to hear what you think about the debates! How did the candidates do? How would you rate them?
Follow along with us on Twitter — we’re @ledgertrans — and use the hashtags #fpudebates and #nhpolitics to weigh in live. Or, send your viewpoint to firstname.lastname@example.org, with “Debates” in the subject line, by Friday at 9 a.m.
