Book discussions an opportunity

To the editor:

A reader’s treat awaits at the Ingalls Memorial Library in Rindge. Once a month, readers are invited to meet for a book group discussion on the classics, led by Marcia Breckenridge. What makes this group so interesting and fun is Marcia. She is a retired teacher of British and American literature. She brings us the background of the book and author, and invites our comments and reactions. And she always has great questions to get us involved.

Why don’t you join us next time, on Sept. 15 at 3 p.m., when we discuss “Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde” by Robert Louis Stevenson. Books are available to borrow. You won’t be disappointed!

Jeanne Carguilo and Alice Cole
