Jim Rubens is the way to go
To the editor:
The recent Granny D Memorial Walk from Dublin to Hancock reminded us of the need to place principle above party and big money politics. We have an opportunity right now to follow Granny D’s lead. Jim Rubens, a Republican candidate for U.S. Senate, was a cheerleader for Granny D’s cause of campaign finance reform, environmental causes and stopping of wars that are killing our sons and daughters as well as our economy.
Jim Rubens is the best choice for New Hampshire’s Republicans and especially Independent voters at this juncture. Scott Brown is an outsider supported by lots of outside money. Do we want that in New Hampshire? Jim Rubens is pro-choice. He’s also cognizant that global climate change is real; the science is right on that. Mankind needs to take care of the planet better. And had better. Jim Rubens is anti-war. He’s for campaign finance reform, and earns Mayday Pac’s support for that.
Independents can make a huge difference on Sept. 9 by choosing Jim Rubens who will do a fine job airing issues with Jeanne Shaheen, who was governor when Jim Rubens was a New Hampshire state senator. New Hampshire doesn’t need a Massachusetts candidate, especially one with Wall Street money attached.
