Peterborough library to exhibit paintings inspired by travel

The Peterborough Town Library is exhibiting the paintings of Barbara Busenbark in the library’s art corner this month. This award-winning artist exhibits her work throughout New England and is inspired by her travels. These paintings include scenes from Colorado, Montana, Washington state, Kansas and New Hampshire.

The artist enjoys painting en plein air. Busenbark is looking forward to opening her own gallery, “Color Notes,” in Hampton Falls in Spring 2013, and can be reached at Barbara@BarbaraBusenbark.com.

Featured in the library’s showcase is handknitting by Brigitta Karl. Karl has knitted everything from tiny animals to kittens’ mittens to menorahs.

Both exhibits are on view during library hours throughout November. For more information, call 924-8040.
