Letter: Help Habitat for Humanity build a home

To the editor:

Would you like to help build a safe, affordable home in the Monadnock region for a family living in inadequate housing?

In 2013 Monadnock Habitat for Humanity will build another house in this region, and we want everyone to have a chance to help with the expense of the project.

“Without Habitat I never would have been able to have a home for my family. We’d have been stuck in one bad apartment after another.” That’s what Adam Miller said recently. He and his wife, Pam, own the house Monadnock Habitat built in 2011.

Here are some reasons you might want to support Monadnock Habitat. Children get sick from moldy conditions, as Robbie Miller did. Families can be living in inadequate and unhealthy apartments. The community benefits when families live in adequate housing.

Send your contribution to Monadnock Habitat for Humanity, P.O. Box 21, Keene, NH 03431; or you can go to Habitat’s website and contribute online. If you have a question, call Habitat at 357-8474.
