A sweet scene

River Mead Executive Chef Keith Fournier, staffer Christine Sones and resident Alice Foster with the gingerbread village in the lobby of the retirement community. Each year the staff builds a gingerbread house village as a holiday gift to the residents. Keith Fournier organized the project and assembled the houses into a village, complete with pretzel fences and chocolate walkways. The staff got very creative this year, with a princess castle, a church and a fire tower. The village is lit up with lights and will be on display throughout the holidays for residents to enjoy.
