WLC swimmers place third
The three-person Wilton-Lyndeborough swim team competed at Goffstown on Tuesday.
The Warriors were by far the smallest of the five teams, but did quite well. They only swam in four girls events and managed to come home with a trio of third-place finishes.
Junior Hannah Bailey took third overall in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 29.81 seconds. She was just .21 seconds out of second. Bailey also finished eighth in the 100-breaststroke in 1:54.24.
Charlotte Bailey, a freshman and younger sister of Hannah, had a pair of thirds. She was a little over two seconds out of runner-up in the 100-breaststroke in a time of 1:31.78. Bailey was also third in the 100-yard backstroke, finishing in 1:28.58.
Junior Victoria Lorvig was ninth in the 200-freestyle in 3:33.92 and 19th overall in the 50-free.
