Library activities set for January in Wilton
Various events are scheduled at the Wilton Public & Gregg Free Library for January.
“The Memory of Love” by Aminatta Forna is the selection for the book discussion on Jan. 24. Copies will be available early in January. New members are welcome to join this adult book discussion, which takes place 7 to 8:30 p.m.
The Wilton Historical Society is located on the top floor of the library. The Historical Society Rooms, which house artifacts and displays, are open to the public on Thursdays, 1:30 to 5 p.m. The society meets on the second Thursday of each month (except March, July and August) at 7 p.m. in the Historical Society Rooms. English as a Second Language instruction is offered to anyone in Wilton by the Friends of the Wilton Library. To set up an appointment, call Bevan Buffum at 654-5811.
