Winter Chiller to begin Jan. 5
The Winter Chiller running series put on by the Monadnock Milers will begin Jan. 5 in Peterborough.
The series will consist of six races in various towns in the Monadnock region and will be held every other Saturday beginning at 9 a.m.
The first race will be at the Peterborough Recreation Department at 9 a.m. and will be a 3.3-mile course. The Jan. 19 race will be in Hancock, followed by stops in Nelson and New Ipswich.
The cost for each race is $5 or those interested may pay $25 up front for all six races. Those who participate in five races will receive a Winter Chiller t-shirt. Runners are encouraged to bring a non-perishable food item to each race for a local food pantry.
