The Conant and Mascenic swim teams kicked off the second half of their seasons on Sunday in a six-team meet at the Clark Memorial Pool in Winchendon, Mass. Competing against swimmers from Monadnock, Derryfield, Gilford and Kingswood, members of the Orioles and Vikings attempted to not only win the individual events on Sunday, but also post times good enough to qualify for the Division II Championships in February. Some have already reached the standards set forth by the swimming committee, while others are using every meet as an opportunity to make it. Sunday was the second time the two schools have met in the pool, but that won’t be the last as they will square off again in the regular season finale on Jan. 26 at the Clark.
