Letter: Hale blossoming as an actress

To the editor:

First of all, I want to thank The Monadnock Ledger-Transcript and reporter Ashley Saari for the wonderful article about my participation as a voter in the Screen Actors’ Guild Awards.

I just wanted to point out that the young woman in the photograph (graciously supplied by the Peterborough Players) which appeared in the print edition of the paper, identified only as a ConVal student, is a fine actress by the name of Alice Hale. It was my privilege to work with her on several occasions in the Ascending Stars program at the Players; she is now enrolled as an acting major at the Tisch School of the Arts at NYU, training for a career in the theater. She is a talented and dedicated young woman, and I am sure we will all be enjoying her performances on stage and screen in the years to come.
