Police Log: Jaffrey — Feb. 7, 2013
Thursday, Jan. 31
Arrest: At 9:50 a.m., police arrested Misty Chase, 24, of Greenville at the 8th Circuit Court in Jaffrey on a warrant out of the Jaffrey Police Department charging her with breach of bail. Chase was released on $10,000 personal recognizance with an April 18 court date.
Friday, Feb. 1
Accident: At 8:50 a.m., police responded to a two-car crash on Peterborough Street. Donna Maynard, 62, of Hinsdale was driving a 1999 Subaru Forester south on Peterborough Street when she was struck by a 1996 Toyota Camry, driven by Robert Kipka, 79, of Peterborough, according to police. Kipka was traveling north on Peterborough Street at the time of the collision. Both vehicles sustained minor damage and were driven from the scene.
Sunday, Feb. 3
Must appear: At 2 a.m., police made a motor vehicle stop on Oak Street. The driver, a 17-year-old Jaffrey resident, was issued a must appear summons charging him with violation of his youth operator restrictions. He is scheduled to appear at the 8th Circuit Court in Jaffrey on March 7.
Arrest: At 9:26 p.m., police responded to a residence on Great Road for report of a domestic disturbance between a father and his son-in-law. Wayne Benner, 32, of Jaffrey was arrested and charged with simple assault. He was released on $1,000 personal recognizance with a March 7 court date.
Tuesday, Feb. 5
Arrest: At 7:50 a.m., police made a motor vehicle stop on Hadley Road. The driver, Michael Champney, 47, of Fitzwilliam, was arrested and charged with operating after suspension of license. Champney was released on $1,500 personal recognizance with a March 7 court date.
