Presidential theme for book club starts Feb. 28 at Antrim library

A presidential biography book club will be held at the James A. Tuttle Library beginning Feb. 28.

Biographies of three presidents will be presented for informal discussions. Reading the books is not a requirement to participate. The library will try to borrow copies for anyone interested in reading the books.

All sessions will be held on Thursdays between 6:30 and 8 p.m. on the second floor of the library.

The first book, “American Sphinx: The Character of Thomas Jefferson” by Joseph J. Ellis, a Pulitzer Prize winning historian, will be discussed on Feb. 28.

On April 11, discussion will focus on “An Unfinished Life: John F. Kennedy, 1917-1963” by Robert Dallek, and on May 23, “The Natural: The Misunderstood Presidency of Bill Clinton” by Joe Klein.
