Conant girls bounced in D-III semifinals
The No. 1 seeded Conant girls basketball team was knocked out of the Division III tournament on Thursday night with a 46-31 loss to No. 4 White Mountains in the semifinals at Southern New Hampshire University.
White Mountains, the defending D-III champions, will play No. 2 Bow in Saturday’s title contest.
Only two Conant players scored on the night. Freshman Madison Springfield had 20 with 12 rebounds and senior Teresa DiTommaso scored the other 11 points to go along with six rebounds.
The Orioles trailed 22-13 at the half and by 17 after the third.
Conant finishes the season with a 19-2 record.
