Wednesday, March 6
Accident: At 10:15 p.m., police responded to a single-car crash on Forristall Road. Dean Boudreau, 30, of Athol, Mass., was driving a 2004 Chevy Trailblazer on Forristall Road when he reportedly lost control due to icy road conditions, causing the car rolled over. The car was towed. There were no reported injuries.
Thursday, March 7
Accident: At 5:55 p.m., police responded to a two-car crash on Route 202. Victoria Ryder, 25, of Peterborough was driving her Chrysler PT cruiser southbound on Route 202 when her car was struck by a Toyota Sienna driven by Jarrod Gregory, 31, of Rindge, according to police. Police said it was sleeting at the time of the crash. There were no reported injuries.
Friday, March 8
Accident: At 9:25 a.m., police responded to a two-car crash on Cathedral Road. James Parker, 20, of Keene was driving a 2003 Chrysler PT cruiser northbound on Cathedral Road when he lost control on the snow-covered road, causing his car to fishtail and strike a 2008 Chevy Silverado driven by Ernest Laund Jr., 57, of Rindge. Both vehicles sustained moderate damage and the Chevy Silverado was towed. There were no reported injuries. Police said both speed and icy road conditions were factors in the crash.
Saturday, March 9
Arrest: At 2:10 p.m., police responded to Cheshire Marketplace on Route 202 for a minor car crash. Norman Muhonen, 55, of New Ipswich, who was driving a 1998 Honda, reportedly rear-ended a 2010 GMC 1500 pickup, according to police. Muhonen was arrested and charged with DWI. He was released on $1,000 personal recognizance with a March 19 court date at the 8th Circuit Court in Jaffrey.
Must appear: At 5:20 p.m., police responded to Franklin Pierce University for a report of an intoxicated man. George Apostolupoulos, 19, of Mansfield, Mass., was issued a must appear summons with an April 3 court date, charging him with unlawful possession of alcohol.
Monday, March 11
Accident: At 4:03 p.m., police responded to a two-car crash on Route 119. Virginia Marchildon, 76, of Rindge was driving a 2006 Subaru Forester westbound on Route 119 when her car was rear-ended by a 2003 Chevy Silverado driven by Derek Hannu, 26, of Rindge. There were no reported injures. Police said the cause of the crash was driver inattention.
