Irish food, music on Sunday at Waterhouse, Peterborough

The Waterhouse Restaurant & Bar will host a St. Paddy’s Day celebration on Sunday from 5 to 8 p.m.

Traditional Irish victuals, libations and desserts, and live Irish music will be featured.

Reels, jigs, and airs and waltzes drawn from the Celtic repertoire will be played by local musicians Lizza Backes on flute, whistle and concertina, Carey Bluhm on fiddle, and Gordon Peery on guitar.

All three musicians are part of the local contra dance scene. Bluhm and Peery are members of the New Cats band, and Backes and Peery are members of the band Trip to Nelson.
