Wednesday, April 3

Arrest: At 12:20 a.m., police made a motor vehicle stop for speed on Route 202. The driver, David Sweet, 20, of Holden, Mass., was arrested and charged with transportation of alcohol by a minor, possession of a controlled drug, believed to be marijuana, and speed. His passenger, Shawn Cronin, 20, of Medfield, Mass., was arrested and charged with possession of alcohol — second offence, and transporting an open container. Cronin and Sweet were each released on $1,000 personal recognizance with a May 1 court date at the 8th Circuit Court in Jaffrey. The car was towed.

Thursday, April 4

Accident/Arrest: At 4:11 p.m., police responded to a two-car crash on Route 119 near the Honey Farms convenience store parking lot. Christopher Bridgmon, 26, of Brattleboro, Vt., who was driving a 2001 Dodge Stratus, attempted to turn into Honey Farms when he collided with a 2004 GMC Yukon, driven by Joanne Kenney, 51, of Ashburnham, Mass., according to police. There were no reported injuries. The Dodge Stratus sustained tire damage and was towed. Police arrested and charged Bridgmon with three counts of false report to law enforcement for allegedly providing each of the three officers at the crash scene with different information, three counts of disobeying an officer and driving after suspension of license. He was held in lieu of $2,500 cash bail at the Cheshire County House of Corrections and arraigned at the 8th Circuit Court in Jaffrey on April 5, when a judge upheld the $2,500 cash bail.

Friday, April 5

Arrest: At 1:10 p.m., Dylan Dennis, 18, of Wakefield, Mass., turned himself into police on a warrant issued by the Rindge Police Department, charging him with second-degree assault. Dennis was released on $2,500 personal recognizance with a May 1 court date.

Arrest: At 1:51 p.m., Anthony Manuele, 19, of Sagas, Mass., turned himself into police on a warrant issued by the Rindge Police Department, charging him with second-degree assault. Manuele was released on $2,500 personal recognizance with a May 1 court date.

Saturday, April 6

Must appear: At 1:10 a.m., police responded to Franklin Pierce University’s New Hampshire Hall, a freshmen dormitory, for a report of an intoxicated female. Jaffrey-Rindge Memorial Ambulance transported Colleen Doucette, 18, of Wakefield, Mass., to Monadnock Community Hospital in Peterborough for treatment. While at the hosptial, police issued Doucette a must appear summons for unlawful possession of alcohol with a May 1 court date.

Sunday, April 7

Accident: At 11:14 a.m., police responded to a two-car crash on Route 202. Peggy Brehio, 44, of Baldwinsville, Mass., had stopped her 2000 Toyota Camry at the traffic light on Route 202 near Walmart when she was reportedly rear-ended by a 1997 Saturn Coupe, driven by Sarah Reynolds, 20, of Blackstone, Mass. Both cars sustained minor damage and were driven from the scene.

Accident: At 2:12 p.m., police responded to a two-car crash at the Market Basket parking lot on Route 202. Raymond Eyles, 20, of Winchendon, Mass., was backing his 2002 Toyota Camry out of a parking spot when he reportedly collided with a 2010 Toyota Corolla, driven by Amy Morss, 56, of Jaffrey, according to police. Both cars sustained minor damage and were driven from the scene.
