Wednesday, April 24

Accident: At 12:10 p.m., police responded to a single-car crash on Route 101 west of the Friendly Farm. The driver, Toni Geisinger, 24, of Gardiner, Maine, was driving a GEO Prizm eastbound on Route 101 when she reportedly fell asleep at the wheel and struck a guardrail, according to police. The car sustained minor damage. There were no reported injuries.

Wednesday, May 1

Accident: At 8:01 a.m., police responded to a two-car crash in Harrisville at the intersection of Hancock Road and Bonds Corner Road. James Moon, 38, of Jaffrey was driving a 2005 Toyota van on Bonds Corner Road when he yielded to an unidentified vehicle that had failed to stop at a stop sign on Hancock Road before crossing Bonds Corner Road, according to police. Police said Moon’s vehicle was rear-ended by a 2006 Chevrolet van, driven by George Matthews III, 60, of New Ipswich. Both cars sustained extensive damage. There were no reported injuries.
