State curriculum group recognized

Plymouth State University recently held a reception in Concord to honor New Hampshire Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development, known as NHASCD, for its national selection as ASCD’s winner of the 2013 Affiliate Excellence Award.

At its annual conference in Chicago, ASCD recognized New Hampshire ASCD for its professional learning programs and conferences, its publications, and its overall services to support the 950 teacher and leader NHASCD members in promoting New Hampshire’s schools and classrooms.

At the reception, Plymouth State University’s President Dr. Sara Jayne Steen thanked NHASCD Executive Director Dr. Susan Copley of Peterborough, NHASCD President William Carozza, and the entire NHASCD Board for its support of Plymouth State’s student chapter.
