Man charged in assault case
GREENVILLE — A Greenville man is charged with a burglary after allegedly entering a Greenville residence and assaulting the occupant inside.
Bryan S. Parker, 21, of Greenville was arrested and charged with burglary and simple assault by Temple-Greenville police on July 2. Parker was released on $30,000 personal recognizance and is scheduled to appear in the 8th Circuit Court, Jaffrey, on Aug. 8.
Temple-Greenville Police Chief Jim McTague said Wednesday that the charge of burglary relates to entering a residence in order to commit a crime. Parker did not have a weapon, but allegedly hit the homeowner, said McTague. The homeowner, an adult male, was not seriously injured, police said.
