Film premier was a success

To the editor:

On a recent Monday evening the Peterborough Town Library hosted the Monadnock area premier of “Northern Borders,” Kingdom County Productions’ film based upon the book of the same name by Vermont author Howard Frank Mosher, at the Peterborough Community Theater.

The viewing was attended by more than 60 people, and the library would like to thank the following individuals for making the evening a success: Judy and Roy Mills, owners of the theater, for providing the venue and overseeing ticket sales; Holly and Willard Williams of the Toadstool, for bringing books for Howard to autograph, and for assisting with ticket sales; Howard, for being Howard, charming as always; and Jay Craven, director of the film, for introducing “Northern Borders” and for leading the post film discussion.

Truly a great evening; and thanks also to everyone who attended.

Michael Price

Peterborough Library Director
