Black bears in New Hampshire
Ever seen a bear in the wild? Are there any in Rindge? New Hampshire Fish and Game environmental educator Richard Masters will give a presentation called “Black Bear Happenings in New Hampshire” at the Ingalls Memorial Library on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
Masters is an environmental engineer, conservationist, and scout leader who for over 50 years has loved exploring the Great Outdoors from his family’s summer cabin on Lake Monomonack. Those in attendance will get a look at the natural history of the black bear, learn about some current research and conservation efforts, and share stories of personal bear encounters. While this presentation is designed for adults, children are welcome.
