Climate fraud misses real data

To the editor:

It has become clear that global warming or climate change is about politics and ideology, having little to do with real science. On a planet whose climate has been in continuous flux for millions of years, it takes a big ego to proclaim this a man-made problem requiring man-made solutions, such as repurposing wind or replacing food production with fuel production.

Something was wrong with the theories became apparent around 2009 when the University of Northern Colorado abruptly suspended the publication of its Quarterly Global Warming Report. They cited “Algorithm Discrepancies” as the reason, i.e. things weren’t adding up.

Soon after “Climategate” became public. The IPCC agent The University of East Anglia in England, already criticized for collecting temperature data from large cities — man-made heat sinks where they replace green areas with asphalt and concrete — in greater numbers than rural areas. In leaked emails, we learned that they also adjusted the rural temperature data to match the data collected from the cities!

Over the past 15 years there has been no increase in global temperatures, in spite of carbon dioxide levels reaching 400 ppm. NASA in a June 2013 report declared Carbon Dioxide a Global Coolant. The University of Australia in a July 2013 research report shows that the planet’s desert areas have shrunk by 15 percent over the past two decades. The increase in CO2 has led to a true greening of the planet.

IPCC admits that only 2 percent of climate models, man made guesses about climate, predicted the 15 year cooling period. If the cooling continues for 5 more years 100 percent of the climate models used will have failed to predict this phenomenon. The real data will have invalidated all the climate models.

Bob DeMaura,

Maybe the Navy is part of the conspiracy? http://climatecrocks.com/2013/02/20/admiral-titley-climate-change-and-national-security/

http://www.aip.org/history/climate/timeline.htm Scientists are paid to right about the science. That is why James Hansen's name is out there. If you go back in history, climate science is about 150 years old. There is one piece of information they found out in 1963 1963 Calculations suggest that feedback with water vapor could make the climate acutely sensitive to changes in CO2 level. =Radiation math Even the radiation math is 50 years old. Wouldn't that suggest that there is some beef behind this science. In reality its actually bullet proof on the co2 warming link. Also the water vapor feedback link is clear and indisputable. The earth is 70% water on its surface. Would you like to rethink your point of view?

Yes, 1998 was unusually warm (partly it because was a strong El Niño year). But overall, 2005 and 2010 ⎯ which were tied for the warmest years on record, globally ⎯ were both hotter, and the 10 hottest years on record have all happened since 1998. Scientists have observed rising temperatures, rising sea levels, melting glaciers, melting Arctic sea ice, and increased humidity over the last several decades. The full range of available data since 1880 conclusively shows the world is warming. The manufactured controversy over emails stolen from the University of East Anglia's Climatic Research Unit has generated a lot more heat than light. The email content being quoted does not indicate that climate data and research have been compromised. Most importantly, nothing in the content of these stolen emails has any impact on our overall understanding that human activities are driving dangerous levels of global warming. At least six official investigations, including ones by NOAA and the National Science Foundation Inspector General and the UK Parliament have cleared scientists of accusations of wrongdoing.

I read this article and I completely dissent with the writer. I do not know where he got his data, probably from the 3% deniers on the planet, while missing the remaining 97% that agree that human made activities (anthropogenic factors) in the last hundred years, are causing global warming. In the last forty years CO2 has increased in the atmosphere to reach this year the level of 400 ppm (part per million). In the last 800,000 years this level was constrained between 200 ppm and 300 ppm and we have had nine ice ages, followed by eight warming periods.None of them hd levels of CO2 so high and none of them had temperatures so high as in the last twelve years, ten of which registered the highest temperatures ever recorded. Global temperatures have risen accordingly, following the increase in CO2 in the atmosphere, but more alarmingly the temperature of the oceans, big storage of heat are increasing and the ice in the Arctic is melting, accordingly, as well as that in Antartica and Greenland. If you have a chance to read serious studies about climate change ,what this means and the consequences on sea level rising, droughts as well as floods, hurricanes, wildfires all over the world (not just in the USA, but in Pakistan, China, Australia, Germany, Argentina, Greece, Mexico, just to mention few of them), I would be utterly worried and start acting now, instead of denying reality. Thanks to humans, the carbon in the atmosphere has gone up by 40%. It's no surprise that would have a big impact on our climate. For more info and to start acting, read: http://clmtr.lt/cb/wHh0bgF and also navigate the major Academy of Science websites all over the world. You will find that ALL of them agree on man-made climate change. No Academy of Science in the world disputes it. It is about time to act, and stop denial on climate change,

Carbon pollution from dirty energy doesn’t just go away. It stays in the atmosphere, leading to a warmer climate. http://clmtr.lt/cb/wHh0cfL
