Conservation kudos

  • Monadnock Conservancy held its annual celebration Saturday at Crotched Mountain Rehabilitation Center in Greenfield. Ed Goodrich, licensed land surveyor, was the recipient of the second annual John C. Calhoun, forester, Professional Advisor Award. He received a framed print of an ermine seen on one of the property's he surveyed for the Conservancy, which was presented by Ann McBride, the conservancy's land protection director. The award is given to professionals who give their time to help landowners understand land and forest management.
