Fundraiser benefits the hospital
To the editor:
How the Hancock Hospital Auxiliary would like to be able to thank each of you personally for donating the fabulous assortment of baked goods and those that made monetary donations. Our sincere appreciation to all of the residents of Hancock, family, friends, and guests of Old Home Day who very generously supported the bake sale. This is our only fund raiser and this has been a wonderful tradition added to the celebration of Old Home Day in Hancock for over 60 years.
As always it is so very rewarding of the positive response received from the 68 callers when asked for their help. We appreciate you volunteering your time to help with the telephoning so that as many Hancock residents can be contacted as possible. It would be impossible to put this bake sale on and have it a success without all of your help.
Our special thank you goes out to all of the caller as following: Laura Akerley, Adine Aldrich, Kathy Anderson, Kristen Bernier, Jane Billings, Jan Buonanno, Mary Lou Cassidy, Heidi Chester, Deborah Claflin, Bobbi Coffin, Polly Curran, Sara Dowse, Edna Drasba, Sue Ellingwood, Ann Eng, Sandra Faber, Pat Fairchild, Gail Fath, Lynn Frank, Joanne Frigulietti, Leeni Gravlin-Dunn, Bea Gustavson, Robin Gregg, Sarah Hale, Pam Hall, Shea Higley, Sarah Hutchins, Sandy Jackson, Jan Johnson, Shirley Kane, Gert Kanner, Ellen Kidd, Sue Koziell, Roberta LaPlante, Terri Lombardi, Diane Loomis, Karen MacQueen, Marion MacWilliam, Robin Mose, Sonja Mucha, Nancy Musarra, Diane Newbury, Karen Nigh, Roberta Nylander, Veda O’Neill, Sherri Paquette, Bev Patten, Marcia Pettee, Deborah Priest, Tammy Proctor, Angela Ramsden, Margaret Ray, Linda Renna, Nellie and David Robinson, Paula Rounds, Betsy Salazar, Deborah Sampson, Marcia Schwartz, Lauren Stacy, Joyce Stevens, Debra Thompson, Lynne Way, Holly Wilson, Judy Zanca and Ellena Zimmerman.
A thank you to Barbara Caverly, Linda Coughlan and Pam Hall for helping out prior to the bake sale and Pam Hall (again) during the day of the bake sale.
All monies made on the bake sale will be spent for a piece of equipment that the patients at the Monadnock Community Hospital will get direct benefit from. Last year the proceeds of the bake sale purchased two Osteotome Sets to be used for surgical services.
