Crafters wanted for  annual apple festival

The Lyndeborough Fire Department Auxiliary Apple Festival takes place a week and a day earlier this year on Oct. 5, 1 to 4 p.m. at the old Town Hall, 1131 Center Rd. in old Lyndeborough Center.

The festival features hot apple dumplings, pies, crisps, turnovers, ice cream, cider, other treats and a small market of local crafts, all in the scenic and friendly atmosphere of historic Lyndeborough Center. Crafters are still wanted. Call 654-2927 to reserve space for just $10 per table. All festival proceeds support Fire Department activities, including emergency events and fire school scholarships.
