Photography  exhibit at the library

The work of photographer Jaime Gallagher Driscoll will be on display in the Daniels Room at the Hancock Town Library from Oct. 5 through Nov. 14.

Consisting mostly of natural subjects, her work includes waterfalls, sunsets, shorelines, forests, and both wild and cultivated flowers of all shapes, sizes, and colors.

Driscoll especially enjoys photographing all living creatures, such as butterflies, wild grouse, sea birds, bumblebees, fish, and amphibians. Most of the photographs are from New Hampshire, Maine, and Massachusetts, with a few are from Florida.

Her photography has been displayed at Fiddleheads Café in Hancock on several occasions, greeting cards featuring her work are available at the Hancock Market, and for the last few years, she has been participating in a number of local craft fairs. A catalog of her photography will be provided at the library.

The exhibit can be viewed during regular library hours: Mondays and Wednesdays from 2 to 6 p.m., Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

It is best to call ahead before attending shows at the library, 525-4411, as the Daniels Room is sometimes occupied.
