Victorian card work shop set for Nov. 13
The Horatio Colony House Museum will be hosting a Victorian Christmas Card workshop on Nov. 13, from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
The custom of sending seasonal greeting cards originated around 150 years ago in the Victorian era. These greetings were highly decorated with Victorian graphics, producing cards that created quite a tradition.
Using copies of traditional Victorian images, the workshop provides an opportunity to make up to three seasonal greeting cards based on traditional Victorian designs.
There is a $5 materials fee. Space is limited; reservations are required.
