Tuesday, Oct. 29
Motor vehicle crash: At 3:05 p.m., police responded to the post office on Post Road for a report of a motor vehicle crash in the parking lot. The two vehicles involved had minor damage and drivers uninjured. The accident involved Richard Carlson, 65, of Antrim and Courtney Cottle, 18, of Dunbarton.
Wednesday, Oct. 30
Motor vehicle crash: At 4:15 p.m., dispatch was advised of a two-car motor vehicle crash on Concord Street at the T-Bird Mini Mart and Citgo Gasoline parking lot, involving Sherry Morrall, 42, of Hopkington and an Antrim juvenile. Neither operator sustained any injuries.
Thursday, Oct. 31
Arrest: At 1:35 p.m., Brian Mitchell, 21, of Antrim turned himself in on a warrant, charging him with the sale of a controlled drug. Police received a report Sept. 19 that Mitchell was selling drugs in Antrim. Mitchell was released on $1,000 personal recognizance with a court date of Nov. 21 at the 6th Circuit Court, Hillsborough.
Motor vehicle stop: At 10:45 p.m., police pulled over a vehicle on Concord Street near the rest area for going over the centerline of the roadway. Police learned Jesse James, 26, of Concord was driving with a suspended license. Police arrested James and charged him with driving after suspension. The car was towed and after police inspection of the vehicle, Officer Brian Lord said Wednesday that police found an unknown drug in the car. Lord said the drug went to the lab and they do not yet know the type of drug in question. Lord subsequently charged James with possession of a controlled/narcotic drug after the discovery of the unknown drugs in the vehicle. James was released on $1,000 personal recognizance with a court date of Nov. 21 at the 6th Circuit Court, Hillsborough.
Saturday, Nov. 2
Motor vehicle crash: At 8:59 p.m., dispatch was advised of a single car crash initially reported on Buttercup Lane, but was later found to be on West Street near Buttercup Lane. Antrim Fire and Ambulance was advised of the crash. Police observed the vehicle to be on its passenger side, after striking a tree near the intersection of Buttercup Lane. It appeared the vehicle was driving eastbound on West Street prior to the crash. The vehicle was a total loss and was towed. The vehicle’s operator, Tanya Solod, 47, of Bennington, was injured and taken to Monadnock Community Hospital for treatment. Ambulance personnel told police Solod was combative as they attempted to treat her. Police arrested Solod, charging her with DWI. She was released on $1,000 personal recognizance with a court date of Nov. 21 at the 6th Circuit Court, Hillsborough. According to MCH Vice President of Philanthropy and Community Relations Laura Gingras, Solod was treated and released Nov. 2.
