‘Dirt’ screening at theater, Sunday
The Town Hall Theater will be showing the film “Dirt” on Sunday at 4:30 p.m.
“Dirt” is a timely film that tells the story of the unappreciated material beneath our feet.
Reviewers call the film “thought provoking with humor and visual pizzazz” and note the importance of the topic — much of the topsoil all over the world is threatened by development, as well as industrial methods of farming that leave the soil barren.
The film will be followed by a panel discussion and refreshments, sponsored by the Souhegan Transition Network.
Admission is free but onations to cover the cost of the film and to support the efforts of the Town Hall Theater to digitize its equipment will be gratefully accepted.
