Sunday, Oct. 20
Car accident: At 2:50 p.m., police responded to a single-car accident at T-Bird Mini Mart on Route 101. Police said David Deese, 65, of Belmont, Mass., backed into a gas pump in his 2000 Toyota Sienna minivan. The Toyota sustained minor damage, and the gas pumps had about $1,000 worth of damage. No injuries were reported, and the Toyota was driven from the scene.
Thursday, Oct. 24
Car vs. deer: At 7:43 a.m., police responded to a single-accident on Upper Jaffrey Road near Fire Lane 3. The driver, Aime Dorian, 27, of Jaffrey, was traveling in her 2001 Subaru Legacy when she allegedly struck a deer. The deer got up and walked away. The Subaru sustained minor damage, but no injuries were reported.
Friday, Oct. 25
Car accident: At 9:28 a.m., police responded to a single-car accident off of Route 101. The driver, Lacie Harris, 34, of Hinsdale, was traveling westbound in her 2000 Jeep Cherokee, when police said she drove off the shoulder by Friendly Farm and into a tree by the swamp. The front-end of the Cherokee was damaged and towed from the scene. Harris had minor injuries, and was transported to Monadnock Community Hospital. No cause of the accident has been determined.

Stolen signs: At 4 p.m., police received a call from Spruce Ridge Road resident who reported that several “no parking” signs were stolen from the roadway. This case is under investigation.
