Library activities offered for kids

There are some new activities being offered for children at the Wilton Public & Gregg Free Library beginning in January.

Tunes for Tots will happen on Thursdays at 10 a.m. beginning Jan. 9. Toddlers and preschoolers will have the opportunity to make ‘homemade’ musical instruments, make their own rhythms, sing songs and dance. This program is run by Christina Ferguson.

Readers’ Theater, for children in grades 4 to 5, will be offered Wednesdays from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. beginning Jan. 8. An introduction to basic drama skills, kids will act in skits, and create dramatic readings of scripts.

For information on these or other programs, contact the library at 654-2581 or debj@wiltonlibrarynh.org or visit www. wiltonlibrarynh.org.
