Friday, June 20

Fire: At 12:37 a.m., police were advised of an involved tire fire at the intersection of Page Hill Road and Binney Hill Road. Police assisted New Ipswich Fire Department as needed, and cleared without incident. Police said youths may have taken tires for the fire from a pile previously left at the intersection of Porter Hill Road and Turnpike Road.

Assist: At 8:18 a.m., police assisted Souhegan Valley Ambulance with a 33-year-old woman on Hakala Drive experiencing chest pains. The patient was transported to Monadnock Community Hospital.

Animal control: At 9:36 a.m., police were advised by an Old Country Road resident that their dog, a Shiba Inu, had left their property and not returned. At 10:14 a.m. the resident reported the dog had returned.

Animal control: At 4:10 p.m., police took a stray dog on Boynton Hill Road into custody.

Saturday, June 21

Arrest: At 4:59 p.m., police arrested Ronald Gaudet, 55, of Manchester on a warrant issued by New Ipswich Police for conduct after an accident. He was released on $1,000 personal recognizance and issued a court date of Aug. 5 at the 8th Circuit Court, Jaffrey.

Sunday, June 22

Animal complaint: At 7:06 p.m. police took a small tan dog found on Green Farm Road into custody. The dog’s owner was identified and the animal was returned.

Monday, June 23

Summons: At 8:25 p.m., police issued an ordinance violation to Jason Goddard, 21, of New Ipswich, charging him with violating the town ordinance for misuse of power. Goddard is scheduled for arraignment at the 8th Circuit Court, Jaffrey, on Aug. 5.

Assault: At 8:50 p.m., a Davis Village Road resident reported that a neighbor had allegedly spit at them and threatened them verbally. The resident advised that the individual was allegedly intoxicated and aggressive. Police gathered information and a statement. The case is under investigation.

Tuesday, June 24

Arrest: At 4:53 p.m. police responded to Mason Road for a report of a domestic dispute. Police subsequently arrested Joey Fragala, 24, and charged him with domestic violence-simple assault, false imprisonment and obstruction of reporting a crime. Fragala was released on $15,000 personal recognizance and issued a court date of Aug. 5 at the 8th Circuit Court, Jaffrey.

Fire: At 10:48 p.m., police were advised of three or four tires on fire at the intersection of Davis Village Road and Dark Lane. Police responded and assisted the New Ipswich Fire Department. Police canvassed the area and learned of an early 2000s gray or silver Nissan Altima speeding away from the area. Police issues a “Be On the Look Out” for the vehicle.

Arrest: At 11:57 p.m., police stopped a motor vehicle for a yellow-line violation and defective taillight. The passenger of the vehicle, Devin Tully, 20, of New Ipswich, was arrested on an electronic bench warrant issued by the Milford District Court. Tully was released on his settled cash bail of $199, and a waiver was issued.

Wednesday, June 25

Fraud: At 10:09 a.m., a Turnpike Road resident advised that his debit card had been stolen out of his ex-girlfriend’s pocket book, allegedly by a family member who used the card at Village Mobil.

Summons: Police served a must-appear summons to Joshua Goddard 19, of Jaffrey for violation of a misuse of power ordinance. Goddard is scheduled to appear at the 8th Circuit Court, Jaffrey, on Aug. 5.
