Tuesday, April 30

Accident: At 12:44 p.m., police responded to a single-car crash on Old New Ipswich Road. Michael Krygowski, 25, of Rindge was driving a 1999 Ford F150 pickup when he reportedly lost control and struck a tree. Police said defective equipment appears to have caused the crash. The car was towed. There were no reported injuries.

Accident: At 4:50 p.m., police responded to a two-car crash on Route 119 near Commercial Lane. Rene Maillet, 85, of Winchendon, Mass., was driving a 1998 Ford Escort northbound on Route 119 when she allegedly rear-ended a 2010 Toyota Highlander, driven by Ramond Coe, 78, of Winchendon, Mass. Both cars sustained minor damage and were driven from the scene. There were no reported injuries.

Wednesday, May 1

Accident/Arrest: At 3:57 p.m., police responded to Route 119 in the area of the Shell gas station for a manor of operation complaint. Police were searching for the vehicle when they learned it had crashed near Pizza Haven. Brandon LeBlanc, 18, of Gardner, Mass., was driving a 1996 Ford Explorer when he reportedly lost control. LeBlanc was arrested and charged with DWI, unlawful possession of alcohol, internal possession of alcohol and negligent driving. He was released on $1,000 personal recognizance with a May 7 court date at the 8th Circuit Court in Jaffrey. He was transported to Monadnock Community Hospital in Peterborough for non-life-threatening injuries. The car was towed.

Friday, May 3

Must appear: At 10:45 p.m., police made a motor vehicle stop on Payson Hill Road, after observing a vehicle swerve off of Main Street and into the grass. Anthony Jackman, 57, of Rindge was issued a must appear summons for negligent driving. He is scheduled to appear in court on June 5.

Saturday, May 4

Arrest: At 1:05 a.m., police responded to Granite Hall dormitory at Franklin Pierce University for a drug investigation. While there, police spoke with Michael Crawford, 18, of Abington, Mass., who they said did not consent to a search of his dorm room. Crawford was arrested and charged with internal possession of alcohol and released on $1,000 personal recognizance with a June 5 court date. Crawford was transported to the Cheshire County House of Corrections and held there overnight due to his intoxication.

Must appear: At 2 a.m., police issued Ignacio Cespedes-Albino, 22, of Leominster, Mass., a must appear summons for open container violation at Franklin Pierce University. Cespedes-Albino is scheduled to appear in court on June 5.

Arrest: At 4:45 p.m., police made a motor vehicle stop on Route 119. The driver, Elizabeth Steele, 31, of Rindge was arrested and charged with operating after suspension of license, second offense. She was released on $1,000 personal recognizance with a June 5 court date.

Accident/Arrest: At 6 p.m., police responded to a single-car crash on University Drive. Sean Cody, 23, of South Port, Conn., was driving a 2003 Infinity Sedan on University Drive near Route 119 when he reportedly lost control. Cody was arrested and charged with DWI, negligent driving and speed. He was released on $1,000 personal recognizance with a May 14 court date. Cody was transported to the Cheshire County House of Corrections where he was held overnight due to his intoxication. The vehicle sustained major damage and was towed.

Sunday, May 5

Must appear: At 12:12 a.m., police responded to a noise complaint at Franklin Pierce University. While there, they observed John Tenney, 21, of Lunenburg, Mass., and Derek Cicconi, 19, of Rowley, Mass., with open containers. Tenney and Cicconi were issued must appear summonses for open container violations and transported to the Cheshire County House of Corrections where they were held overnight due to their intoxication. They are scheduled to appear in court on June 5.

Arrest: At 2:15 a.m., police responded to Franklin Pierce University for a report of a vehicle traveling on University Drive with students hanging out of the car’s windows. Police stopped the suspect vehicle on Pierce Drive. The driver, Jeffrey Britto, 24, of Dorchester, Mass., was arrested and charged with operating after suspension of license. He was released on a must appear summons with a June 5 court date.

Arrest: At 5:36 p.m., police responded to Franklin Pierce University for a domestic dispute between a boyfriend and girlfriend. Justin Figlioli, 21, of Plymouth, Mass., and Jordan Tiorano, 21, of Milton, Mass., were each arrested and charged with simple assault. They were each released on $1,000 personal recognizance with June 5 court dates.
