Thursday, May 23

Suspicious person: At 7:39 p.m., police located a woman walking on Peterborough Road who seemed upset. Police determined that she had been in an argument and had gone for a walk to cool down.

Dispute: At 10:53 p.m., police went to a Forest Road residence after getting a report of a brawl. Police spoke to one of the people involved and everyone was sent on their way.

Friday, May 24

Missing person: At 3:05 p.m., police helped locate a person who had been missing at Plowshare Farm.

Assist: At 3:30 p.m., police spoke to a person who had a loaded handgun at Greenfield State Park. Police said no laws were broken.

Assist: At 7:47 p.m., police helped locate a young camper who had been lost in Greenfield State Park.

Saturday, May 25

Assist: At 12:28 p.m., police helped locate a camper who had been lost in Greenfield State Park. He was returned to his parents.

Monday, May 27

Assist: At 10:32 a.m., police assisted a person who was locked out of a house on Slip Road.

Assists: At 11:20 a.m. and 1:55 p.m., police assisted with Memorial Day parades in Bennington and Hancock

Assault report: At 5:46 p.m., police began an investigation after getting a report that a staff member at Crotched Mountain Rehabilitation Center had been assaulted by a student.

Unwanted person: At 8:07 p.m., police returned a person who had been at a Swamp Road residence to Crotched Mountain Rehabilitation Center.
