Healing through  storytelling

Plowshare Farm will host a program entitled “Storytelling as a Healing Art” with Nancy Mellon on Oct. 31, from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Storytelling resonates with the whole person. Old as the hills, it is also an emerging integrative therapeutic approach to 21st-century personal and communal health. Stories inspire courageous journeys to our true selves. To engage one’s inner storyteller is to awaken the listening, speaking and visioning that transforms and heals.

For 30 years Nancy Mellon, MA, a storytelling elder, author and psychotherapist has awakened the goodness, truth and beauty of the spoken and written word. Nancy brings new perspective and healing through the art of story. Her books include: “Body Eloquence,” “Storytelling & the Art of Imagination” and “Storytelling with Children.” See, for more information.

The fee $125 and financial aid is available. Organic lunch included.

Space is limited, so please enroll early by emailing
