Arrest: At 9:45 p.m., Rindge police responded to suspicious vehicle report on East Monomonac road. Police found two suspects in the vehicle; Richard Martin, 50, of Rindge and Lisa Brazawskis, 36, of Winchendon, M.A. Brazawskis had an outstanding warrant for failure to appear in court for previous shoplifting charges. Brazawskis was transported to the Hillsborough County house of corrections, charged with open container, and given a court date of June 11. Martin was charged with possession of a controlled substance and released on $2500 personal recognizance with a court date of June 11.

Motor vehicle accident: At 12:45 a.m., Police responded to a motor vehicle accident on 202 South Woodbound road. Samuel Bednar, 19, of Richmond crashed his 1999 Saturn SL into a telephone pole while traveling north bound. The vehicle was totalled and according to police, Bednar was traveling at a high rate of speed. Bednar was charged with wreck less operation and miss-use of plates and was given a court date of June 11. Bednar was transported to MCH to be treated for minor injuries.
