Monday, Oct. 1
Arrest: At 4 p.m., police responded to the Phoenix House on Pierce Road for a report of a 16-year-old male, who had allegedly become aggressive. The 16-year-old was arrested and charged with criminal mischief. Police called a juvenile officer for assistance and the boy was taken to a juvenile detention facility in Manchester.
Friday, Oct. 12
Arrest: At 11:35 p.m., police observed a suspicious vehicle parked on the side of Lower Jaffrey Road. As a result of their investigation, police arrested Matthew Goguen, 20, of Bolston, Mass., and charged him with possession of a controlled drug believed to be marijuana. He was released on $1,000 personal recognizance with a Nov. 20 court date at the 8th Circuit Court in Jaffrey.
Sunday, Oct. 14
Must appear: At 2:59 p.m., police received a manor of operation complaint about a blue Subaru traveling at a high-rate of speed on Main Street and passing other cars. Based on a witness description of the vehicle, Peterborough police were able to locate and stop the Subaru near Shaws supermarket in Peterborough. The driver, Henry Bock, 56, of East Watertown, Mass., was issued a must appear summons for reckless operation by Peterborough police.
Sunday, Oct. 21
Arrest: At 3:15 a.m., police observed a suspicious vehicle parked in the parking lot of the Dublin Store on Main Street. As a result of their investigation, police arrested Nicholas Grassa, 20, of Lynn, Mass., and charged him with DWI, transportation of alcohol and unlawful possession of alcohol. He was released on $2,500 personal recognizance with a Nov. 20 court date.
