Friday, March 29

Theft report: At 12:54 p.m., a resident reported she had lost a wallet that was later turned in at a local business, but a credit card and cash were missing from the wallet.

Sunday, March 31

Accident: At 11:39 a.m., police went to the Peterborough Collision Center on Elm Street after Dwight Jarest, 57, of Peterborough drove a U-Haul truck into a large garage bay door, damaging the door and a 1997 Chevrolet pickup truck that was inside the building. The truck had a smashed windshield, the U-Haul truck was dented on the front bumper and the garage door was severely damaged.

Loose animals: At 2:18 p.m., police assisted with herding goats that were loose on Route 101 East back on to the property where they belonged. The owners of the goats were not at home.

Monday, April 1

Check the welfare: At 2:04 p.m., police received a report of a woman wearing a black outfit and no shoes who was lying in a ditch on Briggs Road. Police located the woman, who said she was meditating.
