Monday, April 15
Public relations: At 3:15 police made contact with teachers, students and parents at the Mason Elementary School as school was released.
Tuesday, April 16
Assist: At 4:38 p.m., police assisted Mason Emergency Medical Services and Brookline Ambulance Service with a Merriam Hill Road resident and assisted as needed.
Wednesday, April 17
Assist: At 1:57 p.m., police relayed information to the Amherst Police Department about a Mason resident suspected of theft of rings from a Walmart on March 2 in Amherst.
Thursday, April 18
Arrest: At 7:58 p.m., N.H. State Police arrested Ben Keenan on a warrant issued by the Mason Police Department for criminal trespass. He was transported to the Mason Police Department to be processed. He was released on $5,000 cash or surety bail and is scheduled to appear in the Milford District Court on May 13.
Monday, April 22
Arrest: At 2:25 p.m., police pulled over a vehicle with no inspection sticker, driven by Craig Mauro, 19, of Shirley, Mass. Following the stop, Mauro was arrested and charged with the transportation of a narcotic drug believed to be marijuana. The four passengers in his vehicle, a 17-year-old Ashby, Mass. resident, Sarah Williams, 18, of West Townsend, Meaghan Lewush, 18, of Leominster, Mass., and Tia Ludwick, 21 of Leominster, Mass., were all arrested and charged with possession of a narcotic drug believed to be marijuana.
Wednesday, April 24
Criminal mischief: At 8 a.m., police responded to the quarry on Starch Mill Road about vandalism that had occurred the previous night. Two 55-gallon plastic barrels had been thrown down into the dry portion of the quarry from above, landing about 50 feet down. The barrel had been up on stands the day before. The barrels had some liquid in them but were not full. Footprints were found leading from the quarry to the trail to the North, ending at Mitchell Hill Road. Police documented the footprints.
