Friday, June 28

Traffic issue: At 11:46 a.m., after getting a call about geese trying to cross Route 202 near New Hampshire Ball Bearings and causing a traffic problem, police herded the geese back toward the Contoocook River.

Assault report: At 12:05 p.m., police began an investigation after a resident reported being assaulted by a woman he knows. The woman allegedly grabbed his shirt and arm.

Suspicious incident: At 8:01 p.m., a Sharon resident reported that two men had backed up a silver Toyota Camry in front of his house on Route 124. He said the men got out and began to approach him. One stayed at the foot of the driveway while the other reportedly charged at the resident. The resident said the man was very angry and yelled at him. When the resident called 911, the men got in their car and drove off on Route 124 toward New Ipswich.

Sunday, June 30

Harassment issue: At 9 a.m., a resident reported that he was being harassed by his former boss. Police spoke to the former employer, who stated that he doesn’t want any contact with his former employee. The men were advised to have no further contact with each other.
