Bennington police log: Aug. 8, 2013

Monday, July 29

Missing juveniles: At 7:05 p.m., police received a report of missing juveniles from a Greenfield Road residence. While police were looking for the juveniles, they showed up at home and were fine, police said. At that point, the police cleared the incident.

Arrest: At 8:10 p.m., police arrested Pandora Clough, 48, of Bennington at her house on Greenfield Road and charged her with simple assault resulting from an incident with her daughter. She was released on $1,500 personal recognizance bail pending a Sept. 5 court date at the 6th Circuit Court, Hillsborough.

Criminal mischief: At 9:15 p.m., police took a report of criminal mischief related to damage done to windows at a vacant house on Route 202.

Tuesday, July 30

Protective custody: At 9:15 p.m., police took two juveniles into protective custody for breaking a parental curfew and suspicious activity. They were turned over to parents without further action from police.

Wednesday, July 31

Property damage: At 2:30 p.m., police took a report from a North Bennington Road resident about damage to his property. The damage was caused by a tractor trailer turning around in the driveway. The operator of the truck was located and the incident is under investigation.

Friday, Aug. 2

Arrest: At 8 p.m., after making a motor vehicle stop on State Route 202 police arrested Jocelyn Colby, 34, of Peterborough and charged her with operating after suspension of license . She was released on $1,000 personal recognizance, pending a Sept. 19 court date at the 6th Circuit Court, Hillsborough.

Saturday, Aug. 3

Arrest: At 1:20 a.m., after making a motor vehicle stop on Main Street, police arrested Gary Pierson, 51, of Bennington and charged him with DWI and an open container violation. He was released on $1,500 personal recognizance, pending a Sept. 5 court date at the 6th Circuit Court, Hillsborough.

Sunday, Aug. 4

Arrest: At 12:20 p.m., after making a motor vehicle stop police arrested Erika Hensinger, 82, of Hillsborough and charged her with driving after suspension of license . She was released on a must appear court summons with a court date of Sept. 5 at the 6th Circuit Court, Hillsborough.
