Jaffrey police logs: Sept. 5, 2013
Friday, Aug. 30
Protective custody: At 7 p.m., police were called to a residence on Mark Street for a report of a man yelling at a resident. Police made contact with the man, Russell Holden, 45, of Jaffrey, and took him into protective custody for alleged intoxication. Holden was transported to the Cheshire County House of Corrections.
Saturday, Aug. 31
Arrest: At 4:50 p.m., police responded to a North Street residence for a report of criminal mischief. While taking the report, police located a man with a warrant for his arrest issued by the Jaffrey Police Department, charging him with possession of a controlled drug, believed to be marijuana, and prescription medications. Police arrested the man, Alfred, Moore, 31, of Concord, on the warrant. Moore was released on $5,000 personal recognizance bail and was issued a court date of Oct. 3 at the 8th District Court, Jaffrey.
Protective custody: At 8 p.m., police responded to Main Street for a man yelling. Upon arrival, officers located two men having a verbal altercation. As a result, Russell Holden, 45 of Jaffrey was taken into protective custody for alleged intoxication and was taken to Cheshire County House of Corrections.
Sunday, Sept. 1
Theft: At 2:15 p.m., police received a report of a theft from a North Street resident. The resident reported his laptop had been stolen from his bedroom closet. The theft is under investigation.
Motor vehicle accident: At 9:15 p.m., police responded to the area of McDonald’s for a report of a crash. Officers were informed by McDonald’s staff that Courtney Davis, 34, of Troy was driving a box truck through the drive-through at McDonald’s and tore the lights off the overhang. Davis provided contact information to McDonald’s officials before leaving the scene. There are no charges pending.
