Talk on pollinator diversity at meeting

Alan Eaton will speak on pollinator diversity and habitat in the region at the Cheshire County Conservation District's 68th Annual Meeting on Dec. 10 at 6 p.m. at the Historical Society of Cheshire County.

Alan Eaton is an Entomologist and Professor for the University of New Hampshire Cooperative Extension. He will be talking about the important role of pollinators in our environment and ways to promote their habitat and health in the region.

The evening of celebration will include honoring Windyhurst Farm in Westmoreland as the 2013 Cooperator of the Year and Marshall Davenson as the 2013 Teacher of the Year.
