Lions Club annual supper is Saturday

The annual Peterborough Lions Club spaghetti supper will be Saturday at the Union Congregational Church, Concord Street.

Diners and club members alike are invited to dress in Halloween costumes, if they wish to. A prize from Ava Marie’s will be awarded to the costume chosen as the best by the judges.

The dinner will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Tickets, available at the door or from any Lion, are $7 for adults, $6 for seniors and $3 for children.

The meal includes spaghetti and meatballs, salad, bread and ice cream sundaes.

Sue Blanchette of Hancock is chairing the event. All proceeds will benefit charity.

The service club meets twice monthly for dinner at the Masonic Hall in West Peterborough at 6 p.m. Those interested in joining the Lions Club may call 924-6421.
