Winter farmer's market set in Peterborough

The Peterborough Winter Farmers Market will move indoors to the Peterborough Community Center (former location of the Peterborough Armory), on 25 Elm St. off Route 101.

Beginning Wednesday, every Wednesday afternoon from 3 to 6 p.m., seasonal items will be available directly from growers, bakers and artisans.

Winter Market items range from local storage crops and greenhouse veggies to fresh honey Baklava, locally raised meats — including lamb, pork, beef, chicken and turkey — baked goods, eggs, organic breads, local milk, yogurt and cheese to knitwear and homespun wool, jewelry, wooden spoons, and buttons, homemade jams and jellies, maple syrup, handmade baskets and soaps to dog treats, candles and massage therapy.

Both Fresh Chicks Marketplace at MCH and Peterborough Farmers Market in Depot Square vendors are participating at the new Peterborough Winter Farmers Market. Special attractions are also planned throughout the holiday season.

If you would like to be a guest vendor or have additional questions about the Winter Farmers Market, contact Christine Fennell at buddiesweaters@comcast.net or Andrea Kiestead at 563-7711.
