Two finalists selected for superintendent position
WILTON — After a long search, residents will get an opportunity on Tuesday to meet the candidate finalists in the search for a permanent head of the Wilton-Lyndeborough Cooperative School District.
After a community search committee completed interviews with select candidates Saturday, the committee is ready to present two finalists to the School Board, according to School Board Chair Geoff Brock in an interview Wednesday.
Neither Brock nor Vice Chair Harry Dailey knew Wednesday afternoon which candidates had been selected, and expected the candidates’ names to be announced Monday.
Currently, the district is led by Interim Supt. Don LaPlante, who took over the position last year after the resignation of former superintendent Trevor Ebel.
Residents will be able to meet the two finalist candidates at a meet-and-greet Tuesday at the Wilton-Lyndeborough Cooperative Middle and High School at 6 p.m.
