Live creatures at library

Upon entering the Daniels Room of the Hancock Town Library tonight at 7 p.m., be on the lookout for live burrowing and digging creatures, including woodchucks, skunks, foxes, tortoises, even a digging snake and tarantula.

The Creature Teachers kick off the 2013 Summer Reading Program with their “Dig up a Good Book” performance. Flash the tortoise and Violet the groundhog along with other animals will be here to help us learn which creatures dig and why they do.

Sign up for summer reading will begin at 6:45 p.m. Free and open to all.
