Thank you, Peter, for job well done
To the editor:
On behalf of the more than 300 members of the Greater Peterborough Chamber of Commerce, our Board, and our staff, as well as me personally, I would like send best wishes to Peter Gosline, CEO of Monadnock Community Hospital, on the occasion of his retirement.
More than that, I would like to personally thank Peter for his often unheralded yet often unparalleled service to the Monadnock region in many ways. I have personally served with him on boards and committees, been in his office a number of times just as he has been in mine, and had numerous conversations and interactions with him over many, many years in both official and unofficial capacities.
One thing has always been consistent: Peter’s overriding and sincere concern for the health and well-being not just of people, but also of businesses, organizations, and communities themselves. Probably most telling, the good works that Peter has done — and hopefully will continue to do — behind the scenes outnumber those that people hear about. Peter, please accept these best wishes and wholly insufficient thanks from all of your fans here at the Peterborough Chamber. We will probably never fully understand all of the positive effects you have had on Our Town and our region.
