3-vehicle crash results in minor injuries
ANTRIM — Three drivers suffered minor injuries in a three-vehicle crash on Route 202 on Monday evening.
According to Antrim Police Det. Jason Lepine, a 2013 Honda Civic driven by Mary Lee, 62, of Windsor stopped in the northbound lane of Route 202 at about 6:30 p.m. as Lee prepared to turn left onto Old Turnpike Road. Lee’s car was rear-ended by a northbound 1998 Volkswagen Passat driven by Jessica Pratt, 35, of Hillsborough. The collision, Lepine said, pushed Lee’s car into the southbound lane of Route 202. Robert Mills, 71, of Antrim, driving a 2006 Chevrolet Silverado pickup, attempted to avoid Lee’s car and hit Pratt’s car.
All three drivers had minor injuries, Lepine said. Lee and Mills were taken to Monadnock Community Hospital, where they were treated and released, according to a hospital officials. Pratt was picked up by a family member.
All three vehicles were towed.
Lepine cited driver inattention on the part of Pratt as the cause of the accident.
Route 202 was closed for about an hour while rescue workers dealt with the crash and firefighters cleaned up a small amount of fuel that had spilled.
Antrim and Hillsborough ambulance crews responded and Antrim police were assisted by officers from Hillsborough and Bennington.
